Information for Authors and Respondents
GENERAL INFORMATION
Contributions to the VPE Letter should be submitted electronically, if possible, to contact@ViewpointEndocrineLetter.com. Multiple media will be accepted including writings, photos, videos, and audio files. The highest quality of presentation, writing, documentation, and communication is required. Expository materials should be supported by references, which can be peer-reviewed or not.

- Peer-reviewed references should be cited in standard format used by PuMed.
Non-peer-reviewed references, such as conversations, notes, unpublished material, must be clearly identified and cited as such, and must be accompanied by qualifiers that establish the level of authenticity, integrity, and authority of the sources.

Contributions accepted for publication will be catalogued into a searchable library.

For Authors
Authors may submit original articles, reviews, essays, lectures, protocols, proposals, or any other educational communication regarding endocrine or metabolic systems. Writings, images, photo libraries, videos, slide presentations, spreadsheets, and audio files are acceptable. Accepted pieces will be posted at least bi-monthly.
Contributions are for educational purposes and are not intended to establish a patient-provider relationship, nor to diagnose or treat individuals having any medical or psychiatric condition, nor to promote or endorse a political party, religion, creed, or belief system, nor to advertise for specific products, companies, or organizations. However, topics that involve these subjects and related controversies can and need to be discussed fully and objectively.
The technical or educational level of the intended audience is not limited. A major aim of the VPE Letter is to communicate technical information in a form that is accessible to both professionals and laymen.
Authors should provide a cover sheet with name, address, phone, and email contact information. Authors should state affiliation(s), if any, and disclose any potential conflicts of interest. Authors should provide credentials, such as academic degree and/or relevant experience. Author information will be published in whole or in capsule, except for personal contact information such as phone and emails, unless otherwise requested in writing by the author on the cover sheet.

FOR RESPONDENTS
Respondents may submit questions, comments, and anecdotes related to published contributions in The VPE Letter.
Respondents should provide their name (see Note below) and preferred contact method (text, email) to VPE Letter editors. Responses will be reviewed by the editors and/or corresponding authors. Individual responses may be published, excerpted, condensed, tallied, or collated, for presentation.
Note: Name and contact information will not be published by default unless the respondent requests in writing that such information is to be published.
NOTE: Anonymous responses will be given individual consideration for publication.
